Maintenance of Short and Medium-Length Hairs Dogs
The nature and color of dog hair is extremely varied, and in some cases even non-existent (Mexican hairless dogs). It can be short (braque), semi-long (poodle or German shepherd), long (Afghan hound) or short-haired (Argentinian mastiff). Its texture also varies, one can distinguish between a silky and soft coat, a curly or corded coat, a frizzy coat, a woolly coat and a hard coat called "wire" (fox terrier). In some short- or semi-long-haired breeds we can find an undercoat or fluff, which serves as an additional protection against the cold. Ladybel has created, in a laboratory under the control of veterinarians, ethologists, biochemists and a French university research institute, high-end products adapted to these different types of hair, which are suitable for the following short- or semi-long-haired breeds:
